Terms of Service

By accessing or using BotBase (the “Service”), including the associated Discord bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Users under 16 are not permitted to create accounts or use the Service. This minimum age is set to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 8 and Discord's own Terms of Service.

You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service. Use of this Service does not exempt you from Discord's rules.

BotBase is a Discord bot management platform. The Service allows Discord server administrators to configure and manage the bot's features - including moderation, levels, birthday announcements, automations, and analytics - through a web dashboard authenticated via Discord OAuth 2.0.

The Service is provided free of charge. We do not guarantee any specific level of availability, uptime, or continued operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, servers, or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service in ways not intended for normal use
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate access for any user who violates these terms or who we reasonably believe is causing harm to other users, to Discord communities, or to the Service itself.

The Service, including its design, software, and content, is owned by the operator. All rights are reserved. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Discord usernames, avatars, server names, and other Discord content displayed through the Service remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to operate the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully to understand what data we collect and how we use it.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS (WHICH IS ZERO FOR THIS FREE SERVICE).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination of your account does not affect obligations that arose prior to termination.

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may do so via the Settings page.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

If you are located in the European Union, you retain all rights afforded to you by applicable EU law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Nothing in these Terms limits or waives those rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
