Using Commands

You talk to the bot with slash commands. Type / in a channel's message box, and Discord lists the commands you can use. Pick one, fill in its options and press Enter.

Commands every member can use

Which of these you see depends on the modules your server has turned on.

Levels

  • /rank shows your rank card, or another member's. Options: member, type (combined, text or voice XP) and global (your XP across every server that uses the bot).
  • /profile shows your level profile, with the same options.
  • /leaderboard shows the server's XP leaderboard. Options: type, and global for the board of everyone's XP across every server that uses the bot.

Birthdays

  • /birthday set saves your birthday: day, month and, if you like, year.
  • /birthday view shows your birthday card, or another member's.
  • /birthday next lists the next birthdays in the server.
  • /birthday forget deletes your saved birthday.

Analytics

  • /analytics server, /analytics user, /analytics channel and /analytics top show activity statistics.
  • /invites view and /invites top show invite counts.
  • /activity summary, /activity view, /activity top and /activity rules show progress toward the server's activity roles.

Forms

  • /form list lists the server's open forms. See Forms.

Utility

  • /ping checks that the bot is responding.

Each module's Commands page (under Modules in the docs sidebar) lists every option and every staff command.

Why a command is missing or refused

  • The module is off. Commands of a module your server has not turned on do not work ("This module is disabled.").
  • The server turned that command off. Staff can switch single commands off ("This command is disabled.").
  • It is a staff command. Moderation and admin commands are usually hidden from members, and refused if you run them without the right role or permission.
  • The server restricted it. Server admins can limit any command to certain roles or channels in Discord's Server Settings > Integrations.
  • Discord has not refreshed. Restart Discord or reload it (Ctrl+R) if a new command does not appear.

XP cooldown

XP from messages has a cooldown: sending many messages quickly does not earn more. See the FAQ.
