Managing Subscriptions
Each subscription is a card on Feeds > Subscriptions with the source, its channel and when it last posted. The buttons on the right, in order:
| Button | Does |
|---|---|
| Toggle | Pauses or resumes the subscription without deleting it |
| Re-send latest item | Posts the source's latest item again, for example after you changed the template |
| Edit subscription | Opens Edit Subscription |
| Delete subscription | Deletes it after you confirm. Messages already posted stay in the channel, and its template is kept. |
Badges next to the name: Source Error when the last check failed (hover for the error; see When a source fails), and Going Live or Clips for Twitch and Kick. A subscription the bot turned off shows the reason under its name.
Edit a subscription
Edit Subscription has:
- the source and a switch to enable or pause it,
- Template & Delivery: Post Template (with Create template or Edit template), Channel and Post Mode,
- Keyword Filters: Keywords (comma-separated) and Filter Mode.
Click Save Changes. The source itself cannot be changed; add a new subscription for another source.
Keyword filters
- Enter keywords separated by commas, for example
patch notes, update. - Pick the Filter Mode:
- Include - only post if a keyword matches: only items whose title or description contains at least one keyword are posted.
- Exclude - only post if no keyword matches: items that contain any keyword are skipped.
- Click Save Changes.
Matching ignores upper and lower case and also matches inside words (art matches "party"). With no keywords, every item is posted.
Webhook mode
Set Post Mode to Webhook to post under another name and avatar. The Webhook Settings box appears:
- Webhook: one of the channel's existing webhooks, or blank to let the bot use its own webhook in the channel (created when needed).
- Display Name Override: the name shown, for example "YouTube".
- Avatar: this subscription's Icon in place of the feed icon (a play button for a YouTube channel, say) and Ring colour (the server's accent, or the color of each post). Server default uses the Feeds defaults in Settings > Webhook Avatars. Anything other than the webhook's own avatar needs the dashboard's
public_urlto be anhttps://address. - Avatar Override: an image URL, or Browse for your media library. It replaces the whole avatar.
A webhook you gave your own avatar in Discord keeps it.
If a saved webhook is deleted in Discord, the bot switches to its own webhook in the channel the next time it posts. Webhook mode needs the Manage Webhooks permission. Changing the channel clears the chosen webhook, since a webhook belongs to one channel.
Subscriptions the bot turns off
Deleting a channel in Discord deletes its subscriptions too. If the channel was deleted while the bot was offline, the bot turns the subscription off the next time it posts ("The channel was deleted"). It also turns a subscription off when its webhook is gone for good ("The webhook was deleted"). The reason shows on the card, and the change is in the Feeds Logs tab with the bot as the actor. Pick a new channel or webhook in Edit Subscription, turn it back on and save; the reason clears when you re-enable it.
A missing permission or a Discord outage does not turn a subscription off: that post fails and the next one is tried as usual.
Turn off all feeds
The switch at the top of the Feeds panel pauses every subscription in the server at once. Nothing is posted while it is off, and sources that only your server follows are not checked.
Every change to subscriptions and every re-send is recorded on the Logs tab.
