Set up a feed
- Open Feeds and turn on the switch at the top right of the panel. It saves at once. Subscriptions only post while it is on.
- Click Add Subscription. The Add Subscription wizard opens.
Step 1: Choose Platform
Click the platform you want. A platform with a lock icon is not available on this bot, and the reason is shown under it (it needs setup by the bot's operator).
Step 2: Configure Source
- Type the source into Source. The hint next to the label says what the platform takes: a channel URL, @handle or channel ID for YouTube,
r/subredditfor Reddit, a feed URL for RSS, and so on. - As you type, suggestions appear: sources already followed on this bot (18+ sources are never suggested) and, for YouTube, Twitch, Bluesky and Podcast, search results. Picking one loads its preview. Otherwise press Enter or click Preview.
- For Twitch and Kick, choose the Notification type: Going Live or New Clips.
- Check the preview: the source's name and avatar, its Latest post and its Available fields, with Source found.
- Click Next (it stays disabled until a preview has loaded).
Step 3: Delivery
- Post Template: keep the platform's default (for example Default (@feeds.youtube)), pick one of your saved templates, or click Create template to design one in the Message Builder. The wizard comes back with your choices kept. See Templates.
- Channel: where posts go. For an 18+ source, only age-restricted channels are listed.
- Post Mode: Bot or Webhook. See Webhook mode.
- Click Create Subscription.
The subscription is created enabled, and the bot posts the source's latest item right away so you can see how it looks. A Going Live subscription posts only if the channel is live at that moment; otherwise the next stream is announced when it starts.
Note
The bot needs View Channel and Send Messages in the channel, plus Manage Webhooks in webhook mode. A source can be followed only once per channel.
