Moderation - Commands

All commands work in servers only, and every reply is private (only you see it). The Permission column shows who may run each command: a Discord permission, a bot level (Staff, Admin), or both. "Shown by default only to members with ..." is Discord's default visibility, which a server admin can change under Server Settings > Integrations.

Notes

  • Durations (/timeout, /mute, /ban) use s, m, h, d and w, combined as you like: 30m, 1h30m, 2w. See Writing durations.
  • Reasons suggest the presets from the Commands tab: /ban, /forceban, /kick, /timeout and /warn have their own lists, and /mute uses the /timeout list. You can always type a reason of your own.
  • Role hierarchy: commands that act on a member refuse when the member's highest role is at or above yours (unless you own the server), and nobody can act on the server owner. Commands that change something in Discord (everything except /warn, /note and /cases) also refuse when the member's highest role is at or above the bot's.
  • Defaults: /timeout without a duration uses the default timeout duration, and /ban or /forceban without delete_days uses the default message delete days. Both are set on the Commands tab.
  • Turning commands off: every command has a switch on the Commands tab. A disabled command answers "This command is disabled."
  • /antiraid status, /antiraid level and /antiraid history are covered on the Anti-Raid page; /proof on Cases and Evidence; the mass commands and /clean on Taking Action.
