Variables

Open the announcement templates with Edit Template on Birthdays > Settings, or from the dashboard's Templates page. Write a variable in curly braces, such as {birthday.date}, and the bot fills it in when it posts.

The shared groups (Server, Member) are listed with the common template variables. Every template also takes the Utility variables.

Notes

  • In the Birthday Announcement, the Member variables describe the member whose birthday it is, and {member.age} is their birthday age.
  • The Bulk Line Format takes the same variables as the Birthday Announcement, filled in for each member. The digest template itself takes {birthdays.today} (all the lines) and {birthday_count}.
  • {birthday.year} and {birthday.age} are empty for members who did not save a birth year.
