Auto-roles

Auto-assign Roles gives every member who joins the roles you pick, before the join message is posted.

1. On Welcomer > Settings, open Auto-assign Roles and pick one or more roles. Each shows as a chip under the list; click its x to remove it.
2. Click Save Changes.
3. Make sure the module switch is on.

The dashboard only accepts roles the bot can assign (below its highest role) that are also below your own highest role. A role with elevated permissions, such as Manage Server, needs an administrator to add it.

Good to know

• The roles are given one at a time. If Discord refuses one (for example the bot lost Manage Roles or a role moved above the bot), that role and any still waiting are not given; roles already given stay, and the join message and DM are still sent.
• A role deleted in Discord is removed from the list (one deleted while the bot was offline is skipped).
• Bots that join get the roles too.
• Members who were already in the server are not given the roles when you add them.
