Analytics - Troubleshooting
A stat channel's name does not change
- The channel updates at most once per Update Interval (at least 10 minutes), and only when the rendered name changed. Check "Last updated" and "Next" on the channel's card.
- The bot needs View Channel, Connect and Manage Channels on the voice channel. Without Connect, Discord refuses the rename even with Manage Channels; the card says which one is missing.
- Discord limits renames to about two per channel every 10 minutes; a rate-limited rename is retried later.
- The stat channel is paused (its switch is off). The module switch does not pause stat channels; it only turns the commands off.
A stat channel shows N/A or stopped at an old number
Member, online and role counts need the bot's member and presence data. Right after the bot starts the data is not complete yet, and the channel keeps its last good name until it is. If it never recovers, the bot's host has to enable the Server Members and Presence intents for the bot.
A member is missing from a ranking
Rankings leave out members who have left the server, members who opted out of that activity (account Settings > Privacy & Tracking), and activity your Privacy tab excludes. A leaderboard's own Role Filter and Channel Filter narrow it further.
A 90-day ranking only covers 30 days
That is the anonymization window: after 30 days (by default) activity is no longer tied to a member, so member rankings cannot see it. Server totals still include it. See Privacy.
An activity role is not given or removed
- The bot needs Manage Roles, and the role must be below the bot's highest role.
- Scores only count activity after the rule was created, and excluded or opted-out activity earns nothing.
- A member who reached the Grant Threshold keeps the role until the score drops below the Removal Floor, and while another rule for the same role still qualifies them.
- Check a member's score with
/activity view.
A leaderboard shows "Paused"
It failed five runs in a row, usually because the bot cannot post in the Post Channel or cannot give the Role. Fix the permission or role position and switch the leaderboard back on.
Invites are not credited
- The bot needs Manage Server to read invites.
- Joins through the vanity URL have no inviter.
- A join from an account newer than the fake threshold is counted as fake, and members who left are subtracted; see Invite Tracking.
