Importing from MEE6

If your server used MEE6 levels, you can bring its data over in one step. The import reads MEE6's public leaderboard for your server, so the MEE6 leaderboard must be reachable (MEE6 answers "not found" for a server without one).

What is imported

From MEE6Becomes
Member XPEach member's text XP (their existing text XP is overwritten; voice XP is kept). Their MEE6 message count is copied when MEE6 has one.
Role rewardsA reward track named MEE6 Roles (Text XP, Stack roles off). If that track already exists, its rewards are replaced. If the server already has 10 tracks, no track is created.
XP per messageText XP per message Minimum and Maximum, when MEE6 reports a range between 1 and 1,000.

When MEE6 has role rewards, only members with enough XP for the lowest reward level are imported; everyone below it is skipped. Without role rewards, every member with XP is imported. MEE6 levels use the same formula as this bot, so imported members land on the same level.

Run the import

  1. Open Levels > Reward Tracks and scroll to MEE6 Import.
  2. Click Import from MEE6, read the confirmation and click Import.
  3. Wait while the bar fills. The status line shows how many members were imported and skipped. You can leave the page: the import keeps running, and its progress shows again when you come back.
  4. When it finishes, open the MEE6 Roles track and check Stack roles. MEE6 does not share that setting, so it is always imported as off.
  5. Run /xp sync_roles in Discord so members get the roles they already qualify for.
Import from MEE6: what is imported, and a reminder that it cannot be undone

Warning

The import cannot be undone. It overwrites the text XP of every member it imports. Only one import can run at a time per server.

The import is recorded on the Logs tab with the number of members and role rewards imported.
