Forms - Variables
Forms can post four kinds of message from templates you pick on the form's channels tab:
- Submission Template for the Completion Announcement Channel (all forms);
- Acceptance Announcement Template for the Acceptance Announcement Channel (applications);
- Acceptance DM and Denial DM (applications).
Without a template, the bot posts a short default message. Templates are created in the Message Builder; the picker has a link that opens it and brings you back to the form.
| Template | Slug | Variable groups |
|---|---|---|
| Form - Acceptance Announcement | @form.accept.channel | Form, Author, Server |
| Form - Acceptance DM | @form.accept.dm | Form, Author, Server |
| Form - Submission Announcement | @form.completion.channel | Form, Author, Server |
| Form - Denial DM | @form.deny.dm | Form, Author, Server |

The shared groups (Author, Server) are listed with the common template variables. Every template also takes the Utility variables.
